Over 30 years of experience studying toxicity and carcinogenicity of chemicals evaluated by the US National Toxicology Program (NTP) in a multidisciplinary environment. Assessed toxicology and allied sciences literature to identify the data gaps and prioritize needs for additional research. Participated, collaborated and contributed to the study designs, analysis of results, interpretation and preparation of technical reports for about 300 chemicals representing various use patterns. Prepared protocols, statement of work for contracts, monitored and managed toxicology and carcinogenesis studies at various contract research organizations in US. Evaluated toxicology and carcinogenesis data from the literature and synthesized in formats for scientific deliberations and public information. Published and presented research findings at local, national and international forums. Have represented NTP/NIEHS at national and international meetings. Recruited, trained, supervised, and mentored toxicologists at various phases of their career development. Reviewed and critiqued the technical documents prepared by the EPA, FDA, ATSDR, OECD, IARC, IPCS, ICCVAM and ILSI.
