Experience
Over 45 years experience in toxicology and pharmacology which included 19 years  service of government service at FDA and 4 years at EPA. Expert in regulatory requirements of EPA and FDA. At FDA, service was rendered as a laboratory scientist and then as a senior regulatory official conducting risk assessments of food, direct and indirect foofeed additives and their tissue residues, colors and cosmetics, pesticides human and veterinary pharmaceuticals and industrial and environmental chemicals.   Participated in national and international activities and was FDA’s coordinator for OECD activities. Then Senior Executive (Super Grade position) at EPA, as Director of Health Effects Division (Chief Toxicologist for the Pesticide Program). Followed by 15 years in consulting as the President of ToxaChemica, International. Extensive experience in the preparation of state-of-the art reports on toxicity, testing and assessment, especially toxic substances and pesticides.  Provided litigation services, including expert testimony in over 100 toxic tort cases. Author of over 75 journal articles, chapters, or books on toxicity testing and assessment, and over 50 assessment reports on environmental chemicals and pharmaceuticals.  Over 100 invited scientific presentations.  Board-certified as Diplomate, American Board of Toxicology. Member of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) for over 30 years and the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) for over 30 years. President and Vice-President of the National Capital Chapter of the SOT and Past President of the Carcinogenesis Specialty Section of the SOT.  Co-Founder of the Association of Government Toxicologists. Educator in pharmacology and toxicology for over 45 years and has taught at several universities in the National Capital Area.  Receipent of several government awards for superior service. Registered pharmacist in NY and MD.
