Experience
A Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology with 30 years of experience in all key areas of regulatory and industrial toxicology. Before establishing his own practice, he headed the Corporate Health and Safety Group of the Atlantic Richfield Company. He has chaired and served on numerous trade association committees, most recently the American Petroleum Institute's Health & Environmental Subcommittee and the American Industrial Health Council's Science Policy Task Force. He has authored and given numerous technical articles and presentations on toxicology methods, risk assessment techniques and EH&S performance measurement and reporting. Dr. Roth's experience includes: the design, conduct and interpretation of toxicology studies; performance of human health hazard/risk assessments for consumer products, agricultural and industrial chemicals, environmental contaminants, metals, toxic wastes and petroleum products; technical and expert witness support in toxic tort cases; the development of material safety data sheets, labels and warnings; and both technical and policy advocacy with various government legislative and regulatory bodies.
