Over thirty-five years of scientific and regulatory experience in the fields of food ingredients/nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals, consumer health care, cosmetics, and agricultural and industrial chemicals. Broadly experienced in the public and private sectors, including management of food and drug safety evaluation/nonclinical toxicology/product chemistry/ risk assessment/regulatory affairs programs in industry, government and consulting. Specializing in FIFRA/FFDCA/FQPA food safety issues; data cost estimation and compensation; mechanisms of toxicity; general toxicology: acute and chronic hazard evaluation; developmental neurotoxicity and reproductive hazard evaluation; ecological effects of chemical exposure; and guidance for regulatory compliance with OPPTS, OECD, FDA, ICH and other international guidelines for testing of drugs, biocides and industrial and agricultural chemicals, including implementation of alternatives to animal models where appropriate.
